Among the Debris started out under the name "Distorted Doctrine" in the year 2006. Some songs were made, some of them we carry with us and some we don´t, and after a slight change in the line-up we also changed our name to "Among the Debris".
The music we play is basically death metal with influences from a various of music styles such as fusion/funk, drum´n base, classic and a little touch of soul. And all that in an experimental mix wich hits you in the face like an Muhammad Ali fist!
And therefore to tell you our inspiration sources and bands would be like rewriting the Bible with a new band for all the words in it... So we just don´t...
We´re always trying to create "the new kind of metal" so therefore we don´t like to compare ourselves with other bands, that is up to you, the listeners to do.
Hope you all like what we do coz that´s why we do it... and of course because it´s fun as hell!
