Although the group members have been performing and touring seriously for only a year, they've already achieved some measure of success.
They finished third out of 30 bands in a local contest called RealFest, their first recorded song was chosen by Focus on the Family to be included in a nationally released CD, they were one of finalist selected to audition at Atlanta Fest, and they recently won a battle of the bands contest in Plant City.

Our purpose is to present a unique style of the Gospel to the world through our music. We strive to live a life that is worthy of God's presence, and to proclaim the Majesty and Holiness of Christ with our gifts. We make a strong effort to be straight forward with the gospel and not be timid when sharing the Good News. May we constantly thirst for His presence.
Our mission is to reach both the Christian and the seeking. To the Christian we strive to renew, exhort and encourage a fresh thirst for Christ and all He has for His children. To the seeking in this generation, we understand our responsibility for introducing the source of hope and fountain of life, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to always be relevant to both the Christian and the seeking, and to foster a thirst for a relationship with Jesus Christ. We realize we are always 'Among those who thirst' and we endeavor to use our platform, gifts, lyrics, and relationships to communicate our message of hope.
AMONG THE THIRSTY performs several musical repertoires which can be adjusted depending on the anticipated audience. Their great appeal as a band is their diverse, cross-generational music. From powerful rock to inspirational worship, AMONG THE THIRSTY is truly a sound for all.
AMONG THE THIRSTY was selected from hundreds of bands to open a sold-out Bon Jovi Concert, had their first recorded song released on a national compilation CD by FOCUS ON THE FAMILY'S BREAKAWAY MAGAZINE and selected to compete at Atlanta Fest at Six Flags Atlanta.
The band's unique blend of rock, blues, and acoustic sound creates a broad appeal, and has generated strong interest by industry experts after beginning their public performances in 2004. AMONG THE THIRSTY has quickly become a leading band in Central Florida, and is in great demand on both the Christian and mainstream music circuit.
AMONG THE THIRSTY released its first full-length, self titled CD in November 2004 to critical acclaim, followed by recently released "Homeward Bound", 2006 by Rev Music Group. Among The Thirsty will perform nearly 200 shows this calendar year!
