Amor Electro

Amor Electro have been growing since their debut album in 2011, and today they stand out as one of the main musical projects on the modern Portuguese music scene. In the "Cai o Carmo e a Trindade" album, Tiago Pais Dias, Rui Rechena, and Ricardo Vasconcelos create the ideal backdrop for Mariza Liz - recognized as one of the most brilliant voices in Portuguese music to express all her talent, stemming from a unique personality, where modernity and tradition, popular roots and electronica collide to produce an extremely original sound, imbued with charisma, emotion, and Portuguese-ness. Over a period of approximately two and a half years, Amor Electro have established themselves as a major act on the Portuguese music scene, had one album go Platinum, won a raft of awards and prizes and sold out concerts, one after the other, all over the country.
On their most recent album (R)EVOLUTION, the band have not allowed themselves to get too comfortable after all the success they have achieved. They take on new risks, adventuring into unexplored places, adding the contrasting energy of the most cutting-edge rock to the bands strong character, while maintaining their unique intensity.
