Amsiwel

Saïd is impregned of his childhood’s traditional songs (Adhekkerr, Achewwig, Cchekran…) and of kabyle songs.
Karim has grown in France with Pop Rock music of the 70’s (The Beatles, the Who, the Byrds, Crosby Stills and Nash).
Their passion for the music will pull them in a studio in Tizi Ouzou for a recording session.
At the same time, the poet Hassen Loucif, friend of Saïd, will write the text of the songs. The band Amsiwel is born. Amsiwel means the call, call for exchange and respect.
The trio “Amsiwel” with Karim malki (guitar) Lounès Bouali (Oud) and Saïd Lebbah (lead, percussions) performs on stage in Paris and presents a new vision of kabyl songs.
