Amsterdam Station

Hailing from Atlanta Georgia, Amsterdam Station is made up of Chris Connelly, Greg Jarvis, Andy Potash and Jonathan Pace. It was formed when, after returning from living in and traveling Europe for over a year, Chris Connelly (who now worked at GSU) met local Atlanta musician and (at the time) student at GSU, Greg Jarvis. Greg Jarvis, an active and prominent member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, soon recruited Sigma Nu and GSU alum, Andy Potash to sing and play lead guitar, and later Jonathan Pace (an active member of Sigma Nu) to play drums, completing the line-up. They decided to form a band not constrained by pretense, boundaries, or genre specific music. While our main influence is a fusion of 90’s rock and blues, we are always inspired to grow and expand our sound, sometimes including elements of reggae, folk, contemporary rock and pop, and even hardcore metal. Our music is built around thoughtful lyrics, focused and tight harmonies, and melodic hooks.
