ATP Management Presents … AmTrack A Truly Legendary Dynamic Duo In The Making When it comes to dynamic and legendary hip-hop duo’s, the list can go on for miles: … Andre 3000 and Big Boi …Pimp C and UGK … Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg … Biggie and Puff … Mos Def and Talib Kweli … But according to some, this list is not complete without the up-and-coming names Mr. Main and Dirt Diggalah – the Yin and Yang of AmTracK! In the year 2002 it was prophesied - by So-So Def CEO Jermaine Dupri himself - after hearing AmTracK perform that they would be the next OutKast! Now, compliments like that don’t come often from a hip-hop mogul but when followed by a personal invitation to “look him up,” this southern rap sensation put their locomotion in high gear! That personal compliment from J.D. himself was a springboard for their inspiration as artists not - to mention a tremendous boost to their confidence – but it was also confirmation that their collaboration and hard work was paying off. Having met as co-workers in 2002, Rick Foster was already a seasoned rapper and writer but when he discovered that his co-worker Nesbit Bell was a poet also, he reached out. Both would agree that something magical happened that day they exchanged rhymes. Foster, recognizing true talent when he heard some of Bell’s poems so he encouraged him to pick up the microphone and spit some of his rhymes. With a little coaching it wasn’t long before Bell was holding down his mic and their naturally complimentary styles fused. Dirt Diggalah’s verbal superiority and metaphorically sublime style blended perfectly with Mr. Main’s hard-edged realism and AmTracK was born! Thus, a powerful force was unleashed on the world! In 2003, Mississippi was permanently changed by the positive freshness of hits from their underground CD The Chronicles of AMT during opening performances for David Banner on a 3-city tour. Audiences in New Orleans are still star-struck by their phenomenal skills witnessed at a summer 2004 opening performance for Master P. Am-Track has even laid tracks down through Buford Georgia where their hit single Southern Bred rocked the Summer Hummer/Lowrider Magazine Car Show in 2006 hosted by Lowrider Magazine and the Ying Yang Twins. With the taste of success fresh on their pallets, this duo has upgraded their game for 2008 and already diversified talent portfolio with their first Gospel recording! They can be heard alongside Atlanta’s own the great Pastor and Gospel Artist William Murphy and legendary vocalist Tasha Cobbs on the single Searching due out later this year. More recently they were guests at the Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Allstar Game along with Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and they performed in February 2008 in Atlanta for the New Life Church event youth program Rock Nation. Add to this the monster plans for their 2008 release under ATP Management, Inc. and you will see a picture of two determined, talented brothers who are definitely in to win and carving out their position as major players in the rap game!
