What do you get when...
you combine a "rat race escapist" and a hip-hop enthusiast with 5 years of mental health social work experience and an ink filled passport?
Amy Leo is a singer-songwriter who sent demo tapes to Laface Records and appeared on ABC with an original song at age 11.
Ten years later, she quit med school and later her day job in favor a more authentic and certainly more adventurous (or perhaps misadventurous!) life making music and making a difference.
For Amy this involves fusing her love of rap-rock music, social work, & travel in order to make an impact locally and globally.
- Gigged nationally and internationally at such venues as: The Bitter End, NYC, Triad Theatre, NYC, Waltz-Astoria & The Vault, Queens, as well as venues in Topeka, KS, Copenhagen, Denmark, London, England, & Dublin, Ireland.
- Debut EP, Quarter Life, released in 2014.
