Bio
Amy has graced the stages of L.A.'s world-famous folk and blues clubs such as The Mint, the El Rey, The Joint, Highland Grounds and Genghis Cohen. She was one of twenty finalists out of 2000 entries in the Los Angeles Levi's/Lilith Fair Talent Search, and was a quarterfinal winner in the 2000 Grand Slam Songwriting Contest for her song, "All There Is To Be." She wrote and performed the title song for "Swimming Upstream," an award-winning documentary that screened at film festivals across the country. Now relocated to Philly, Amy is thrilled to be back on the east coast, close to her family and friends.
An irreverently charming and catchy songwriter, Amy's tunes strike an easily accessible chord that's a mix of folk, rock and blues. Her songs are matched by her sweetly soulful voice and an equally strong presence that is refreshingly genuine and spontaneous.
