At first glance, it seems like Amy Avery is the quintessential girl next door -- the one teenage boys dream about in the movies.
Originally from Twig, a very small town north of Duluth, MN, Amy Avery grew up driving around on her four wheeler singing at the top of her lungs. When the sun went down she'd spend nights partying, breaking hearts, and running from the cops in gravel pits under the northern skies.
But Amy Avery isn't just the girl next door. She enlisted in the Air Force and loaded bombs on fighter jets in Iraq. She has been awarded the title of marksman for skills with a loaded weapon, and what makes her truly different, is her ability to connect with her audience through her powerful voice.
