Amy Firth

 London, England, GBR
SoloFolkSinger/Songwriter

Amy Firth is an Australian singer/songwriter based in London.
Raised west of Sydney, in the cloud-cloaked villages of the Blue Mountains, Amy's sound is rooted in the eucalyptus & wood-smoke of an Australian winter. Amy's music is a mosaic of folk, blues & rock. Her songs are vibrant, rich & cheeky.

Biography

Amy is two parts bravado and brilliance, and a third pure guts. She sings from the heart and rocks from the soul. Critics in London's West End loved her so much they paid her the ultimate British accolade - a year's supply of cider as first prize in an unsigned competition. It's still waiting for her in a dusty corner of Clapham Common.

Since leaving Oz in 2008 she has wowed audiences from Paris to Lisbon and along the Edinburgh Fringe. For the past five years she has been based in London playing gigs at such venues as Ronnie Scotts Bar, Water Rats, Regal Rooms & the London Thames Festival.

Vibrant, rich & cheeky - this is Amy's music, warm as toast and purple as the twilight sky.
