The best kept secret in music

This band has no press

Amy's only release thus far is "The Koma Session," a mini-cd of three songs recorded in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in August 2003. The three songs, "My Wanting Peace," "Greed," and "We Must Choose Peace" receive regular play on Jess Byer's show on Missoula's KUFM 89.1, University of Montana radio station.

Feeling a bit camera shy

Amy's musical influences include Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, and, more recently, Amy Martin (another Missoula-based folk singer). After spending many years writing predominantly Christian music, Amy's concern over the decidedly "un-Christian" actions of the United States government--a self-described "Christian" government-- prompted her to begin writing songs designed to highlight her country's hypocrisies and to get her fellow Americans thinking about the true meaning of peace.
