Lyrics

Indian Grave Yard

Written By: Amy Lewis / Jeff Ross

(Verse 1)
This old house sits on an Indian Graveyard
The Banker man told me so
I have never been superstitious
The weeds grew high and the price was low

Not two weeks after I moved in
Something brushed by me and I almost froze
Picture wouldn’t stay up on the mantel
Lights would flicker and doors slammed closed

(Chorus 1)
Is it just the furnace starting its fire
Is it just the wind or electrical wires
I try to tell my imagination it aint true
But make believe will sure make a believer out of you

(Verse 2)
There’s got to be some sort of rational reason
Some scientific closure here
Surely no ghosts are out to get me
Surely things aint like they appear

(Chorus 2)
Is it just the furnace starting its fire
Is it just the wind or electrical wires
I try to tell my imagination it aint true
But make believe will sure make a believer out of you

(Chorus 3)
Is it just the furnace starting its fire
Is it just the wind or electrical wires
I try to tell my imagination it aint true
But make believe will sure make a believer out of you

(Outro)
This old house sits on an Indian graveyard
The banker man told me so

Different Piece of Sky

Written By: Amy Lewis / Richard Mitchell

(Verse 1)
I know this town
Like the back of my hand
All the old brick buildings
And even where some used to stand

Put me in the car
With my eyes closed
And I can tell you where we are
Just by the curves in the road

(Chorus 1)
Something’s going to change
For the worse or for the better
You know I’ve got to break free, break free
Cut me loose and let me fly
And I don’t know why
But something in the weather
Makes me wonder what I‘ll find under
A different piece of sky

(Verse 2)
A stranger once told me
The best way to find yourself
Is to go where you don’t know anyone else
And I don’t wanna dig up these roots
Just so I can walk
But I feel like and oak tree growing in a flowerpot

(Chorus 2)
And Something’s going to change
For the worse or for the better
You know I’ve got to break free, break free
Cut me loose and let me fly
And I don’t know why
But something in the weather
Makes me wonder what I‘ll find under
A different piece of sky

(Chorus 3)
Something’s going to change
For the worse or for the better
You know I’ve got to break free, break free
Cut me loose and let me fly
And I don’t know why
But something in the weather
Makes me wonder what I‘ll find under
A different piece of sky
