Bio
Amy always wanted to do something in the entertainment industry. Having been in dancing lessons from very little, it just seemed natural. But it was quite obvious she was no Prima Ballerina. So she had a few different ideas of what she could be. First it was a Vet (requires maths), Marine Biologist(maths), Working with the Dolphins at Sea World(yet again requires some qualification needing.......MATHS!) But that underlying urge to do something else never went away and was finally realised....... 5 years ago, Family holiday, sitting in the back of the car, singing away to the radio, videoing the trip. And what came out of this little girls mouth didn't sound too shabby. Amy decided she might like to take this new found talent a little further and from there everything just grew. Joined the choir at school, then formed a duo, then a trio. Dabbled in a bit of country music and went to a few festivals until finally at 16 Amy decided it was time she did it on her own and gave this songwriting thing a go. She spent the next 3 years endlessly writing, finishing school, moving out of home, going to uni, recording a demo, leaving uni, moving back home, forming a band and finally beginning to play out and about. Some 2005 gigs have been: support for Chris Jagger at the Continental Hotel, Sorrento and The Cornish Arms, Brunswick, Tsunami Relief Concert at The Moorooduc Coolstores, feature spot on "Russ Kellet's Melbourne" (channel 31) which was filmed at The Ferntree Gully Hotel, and a few random appearances on the same show from appearing at Beaches, Mornington Wednesday Night Jams.
