A.J. Faleski, better known by his stage name An0maly, is an independent hip-hop recording artist from Central New Jersey. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, A.J.'s parents divorced at a young age. After being forced to move locations numerous times, A.J. found comfort in poetry and song-writing. Combined with always being in trouble at school for fighting, poor grades, and disciplinary problems: rhyming was the one place he felt at home. A.J.'s first inspirations were Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and Weird Al Yankovic, which had him writing advanced poetry and creating song parodies before the age of 10. At the age of 18, A.J. headed off to West Virginia University with a keyboard, a laptop, and a dream. After posting several freestyle videos on Youtube, his popularity skyrocketed quickly. Despite recording his first two mixtapes without a microphone and with a pair of broken headphones, An0maly quickly garnered 1,000,000 video views and 100,000 song downloads. This success sparked the attention of numerous major labels, indie labels, and managers. Deciding to remain independent, An0maly continued on a path of releasing free music for the world to enjoy. Now with over 3,000,000 video views, 1,000,000 song downloads, and a worldwide fan-base, only time will tell how far An0maly takes his craft.
