She has 4 independent records and many collaborations with other musical projects. She represents the new independet mexican music.

She works with a pluricultural band which enriches her proposal, cuban, colombian and mexican musicians accompany her turning the tradittional songs into new sounds and making the best of her songs.

Ana Diaz presents from tradittional to contemporary songs, mixing genres such as: latin rythms, rock, funk, smooth jazz, alternative pop, cumbia, reggae.

The songs she writes reflect a female point of view of everything sorrounding her: social issues, love, her children, reflection about life in general.

Fusion is something that passionates Ana, it is presented in each song and Ana enjoys the idea of freedom not belonging to one gender only.

Ana Diaz has played at NYC so even though her base band is in Mexico City she has a set of musicians at Houston and at NYC.

Last July Ana was invited to the International Festival Viva Mexico at Sochi Rusia where she presented two projects: Ana Diaz Ensamble and Ana Diaz and the BRM (Mixe Regional Band) in 7 concerts where she was able to show her songs as well as the most representative songs from her native State of Oaxaca , Mexico.
