Analog Daze

BandAlternativePop

ANALOG DAZE is best described as a combination of late 60’s songwriting mixed with the raw energy of 70’s and 80s pop-punk with a healthy dose of Brit-pop sensibility. This band creates an extremely full and unique sound for being just a three piece. The "Jangledelic" sound has spoken!!

Biography

ANALOG DAZE are the self proclaimed founders of the "JANGLEDELIC" rock genre of music and based in the exploding Charlotte, NC rock scene. ANALOG DAZE was formed in 2006 by Craig Hanks guitarist, and Kenny "KJ" Johnson bass/vocals. New York native Clint Ferro was added the final lineup in 2008. Craig the resident guitar slinger is influenced by all of that jangly powerpop stuff. Kenny with his powerful 60's vocals and the voice of the group brings not only his storytelling lyrics but, a bass sound in the vain of Paul McCartney. Clint's drums and backing vocals are catchy, smooth, and loud but, amazingly simple.

We have a sound compared to that of early REM, The Beatles, U2, The Replacements, Led Zeppelin, Lets Active, Nirvana, The Cure, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Stone Temple Pilots, The Dandy Warhols, Blur, The Killers, and Modest Mouse.
