Bio
Analog Existence is a 3 piece modern grunge-rock experiment, combining elements of Post-rock ambiance, Grunge dirt, Punk-rock
emotion, and often introspective lyrics on life, death, time, and fate.
Formed in early part 2014 from the desire of the lead-singer and song
writer, Daniel McCullers, to share the songs he had written in years
past. The purpose now is both to share good music that is thought
provoking and begin to build a community with other bands who are like
minded and sincere.
The name hints at the desire to make
organically crafted music with human hands. Too often now music is
injected with so much electronic sound that the audience can't ever tell
what is coming from the musicians on the stage or from the computers
beside them. Analog Existence does make room for that confusion on stage
or in the studio.
Daniel explains the idea this way, "I love to
see the artists hand in a painting. When you can fell the brush stroke,
it's like you are there with the artist creating it. It isn't perfect
and you know that that is the only copy existing. I want to make music
with fingerprints and imperfect brushstrokes."
Although the desire
is to record completely to analog tape, because of the lack
availability, the band is being realistic as it moves toward a
full-length album. You can expect what you hear on any Analog Existence
recording is made with human hands. "There will be no auto-tune and no
fixing mistakes on the computer." Daniel goes on, "if we can't playing
using what exists in physical world, then it won't be incorporated."
