In early 2003 the members of An American Ocean got together with one goal in mind: World domination through Rock n’ Roll. The band quickly garnered attention from Gabriel Colbert the founder and general manager of Runt Entertainment who quickly added An American Ocean to his artist repertoire. Through this association the band began playing some very high profile shows throughout Texas including opening for the Gin Blossoms, Dishwalla, Bob Schneider, and the Jackass tour.
