Still working on that hot first release.

Anansa has been singing from since the age of seven as far as she can remember, in the gallery of the warm tropical sun in her great grand father's house, where she thought no one was listening. To her surprise the neighbours were keenly listening to her songs and would miss her voice when she wasn't there.
Having known this information her aunt got her private vocal lessons and it was suggested she join the choir in a secondary school where the same teacher also gave singing lessons. Being seven years old in a choir of older children didn't stop Anansa and she continued singing and joined piano lessons as well.
As the years went on Anansa joined a band at WAC Performing Arts school in Hampstead Heath London where she continued piano. Anansa continued her musical journey initially writing poems at a young age this transformed into writing her own songs from her life's experience growing into a young woman. Anansa began writing to record her own music in 2011 at 2Deep Studios influenced by reggae music and her enlightenment of RasTafari and such artists like Sizzla Kalonji, I Wayne and Capleton and with her first finished recorded song entitled 'Mama Africa' she entered a competition called Ras Factor, a conscious platform for  artists to express themselves with uplifting or conscious lyrics and music. Anansa was the first female to win Ras Factor in 2012 and in many ways this reassured her that she was on the right path and gave her the confidence needed to continue. In 2014 Anansa decided to compile and EP as her creative vibe began to over flow and she began writing non stop,  this lead to one of her songs called 'Rasta Love' on the 'Lalibela-Riddim' by Highest Region Productions, (not released yet) which was recorded at Strong Roots Studios. This is where Anansa's first EP began with two other songs produced and recorded at Strong Roots Studios. In between the EP Anansa has other projects , collaborations on riddims with various artists and pushed herself out of her comfort zone by doing a cover of  3T's 'Anything'. Anansa has always loved music and one of her goals was to build a studio so that she may be able to record in her own time with artist Raggo Zulu Rebel she managed to do so combining efforts and created JahZara Inspirations Studios.
Currently Anansa is working on her EP which may change to an LP considering the amount of songs she has written, working with Studio Starline on a dub, jazz, reggae vibration, inspiration is limitless, Hibiscus On A Tree EP look out for it.
Since Ras Factor Anansa has performed at Passing Clouds in Dalston for Dalston Dub Club along with Dub Judah, Jah Youth Roots Ambassador Sound System and Sister Uwimana , also Anansa has performed at Jah Messenger Fest 2016 at Old Street, Loves Company.
The most recent international project was with artist Raggo Zulu Rebel and Ras Tariq recording a new song at Jah Mission Studios in Amsterdam, August 2016.
