ANARCHIST DUCK are on FIRE! The band have returned home from their latest 6 week National tour for a brief stint at home for some local lovin, then they're off again to share some more tunes to the folks of OZ. Anarchist Duck's live shows are renowned for their house-shaking danceadelic hugeness, driven by body-rockin beats, Flawless' boundary-smashing guitar style, and the unmistakable rare talent of singing bassist Julz... this band has an original sound that takes Gold Coast original music to a new level of greatness.
The band are currently recording their 2nd album, due for release Dec 2011/Jan 2012.
The power trio came together 6 years ago when guitarist Flawless and bassist Julz moved into a house in Currumbin with drummer Arno Cassidy... and the Duck was born. Since then the trio have amassed a huge repertoire of funk in the style of the 70's original funksters fused with kooky Reggae, world grooves, ska and rhymes.
