Anaura’s music evoke a broad range of influences in their songwriting including The Smiths, Weezer, Supergrass, and Elliott Smith. This San Francisco-based, four-member band’s ability to orchestrate complex and lush arrangements is evident on Anaura’s second album, If We Get Away with This. The band can deliver a quintessential pop song like ‘Ghostwriter’ and elegantly slide into the more brooding guitar-driven sound of ‘Man in a Suit’. Since their formation in 2003, Anaura have continued to refine their unique sound while continuing to explore new musical territory. Anaura will always be ready to deliver something different with to its listener with each new song and performance.
