Anchorage

Anchorage is a band that knows no limits to its creativity. Formed in 2008, Anchorage has aspired to be among the leaders of musical innovation by offering nothing but originality and honesty in their work. Borne of the Denver hardcore scene, Anchorage has worked tirelessly to establish a name and a loyal fan base--releasing two albums, and playing as many shows as they could where ever they could. Despite an array of member changes that otherwise may have crippled the band, Anchorage has proved over the past five years that their undeniable will to create music has helped to find their sound in its more pure form. With the 2013 release of their new full-length album "Patience," the band hopes to prove that through fearlessness, brotherhood, and--as the title reminds us--patience, a thought-provoking endeavor will open the minds of close-minded audiences, and hopefully the music industry as a whole. Anchorage promises to stand strong and to never rest on their laurels--to always embrace and share the natural progression of music as it relates to their lives, and to continue to make honest and intriguing music. Anchorage has made the conscious decision to disassociate themselves from niched-genres, instead to explore the creative freedom and emotional expression of their collective individuality. And with that expression Anchorage promises to provide listeners with originality and passion for every note they play, embracing any and all who are open to share in the wonderful power of music. Anchorage has begun to develop a set of personal values that they hope will transcend the current state of the music industry, laying down a path toward a lifetime of artistic freedom and achievement. And though Anchorage is aware that they will forever exist in the present, their focused intensity and desire to create and share will pave a way toward a bright future, adding them to annals of timeless artists.
