Bio
Born, and now back living in New York City, I moved around as a kid from NY to TX to CT to MN, and now my family is livin' it up in in Denver, Colorado where I can often be found snowboarding in the mountains.
I got my roots singing for shiny silver dollars in a local choir, and at 16, my parents gave me an acoustic guitar. I started listening to music from the 60's and 70's and it inspired me to write my first songs. Within a year I had formed my first band- 'The Drove'- and we would go on to record an album of rock & roll goodness--but, before we all knew it, we were off to different universities around the United States.
I began my "studies" at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and transferred into The Clive Davis School of Recorded Music at NYU as a sophomore. Now 23, I just graduated, and will release my first solo album in late-2008 through Love Ship Records. In the meantime, come join me at one of my shows with some friends!
