"Frosty Heidi and Frank Show"

every friday i listen to 97.1 fm for "should i stay or should i go" on the frosty, heidi and frank radio show. a cd is randomly picked, they interview a band member via the phone who chooses two songs to be played. the radio hosts and production crew then critique the first song played then open the phone lines and the first 10 give their opinions. the first 5 for the first song and the second five for the second song. those listeners get to say 'should they stay' or 'should they go.' the whole concept is to showcase local bands trying to make it. it has become quite popular out here with the listeners and with the industry folks. "should i stay or should i go" is now in it's second year.

of course most of the bands that are showcased think they are the next best thing since the invention of the wheel, but some now and then really stand out. this young group really stood out today. their music was perfect: from the singer, to the musicians, to the music and their heartfelt lyrics. i was impressed. it was near perfection and for that reason i wish to remember hearing them for the first time today and with my hopes you guys do make it. i can't wait to see you live and purchase your cd, if and when it does come out. you guys are so unique. i know one can hear your influences, but you guys are no carbon copy of anyone. can i say unique again? - Listener of 97.1 free fm Los Angeles

Bio

Anderson Hall was formed at the University of Redlands in 2000. For the next year, the band performed on and around campus. The chemistry was there from the beginning. The music just started to flow. After graduation the members drifted away for a bit only to find themselves drawn back to the band 4 years later. With influences from the Allman Bothers Band, Counting Crows and Big Head Todd and the Monsters to Metallica, Sister Hazel and Howie Day, there is something for everyone. The blend of infectious vocal hooks and blazing guitar solos makes for unique songs that give the listener something to latch onto while stretching their musical limits. Most importantly the band is made up of great friends making the music they want to make and having a great time doing it. Anderson Hall is now one of the hottest bands in Southern CA
