Bio
After playing in a number of different bands for several years, the members of ...and explode came together in the summer of 2005 and began to focus on creating original material. The sound is based on precision and execution of complex melodies. The band tries to create a dynamic contrast between loud and soft. Influences include: Minus the Bear, Nirvana, The Beatles, Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, Weezer, Chuck Berry. These days it is not that common to find a tight 3-piece rock band. After the years of Nirvana the 4-5+ member band reigned. The band members are all college students in Denver in their early to mid 20s. They have all been playing music for 6-10 years.
