Andie Sandoval

 Andrea (Andie) Sandoval, born and raised in Culiacan, SIN, Mexico, started singing at the age of 6 performing some more traditional genres of the Mexican culture. She's a Pop/Rock singer/songwriter that has been described as “Kelly Clarkson meets Taylor Swift, Aretha Franklin and Adele”. What sets her apart from everyone else is her outstanding strong and soulful vocals along with her true and heart felt lyrics and melodies.

     Andie started up performing from junior high events to National Original songs’ competitions held by Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in which she won first place in regionals with her first ever written original song in Spanish titled “Amor que duele”. Moved to Monterrey, NL  in 2009 to study a career in Fashion Design and Textiles in UDEM College. Later on, Andie began to get involved in Cultural Diffusion activities during her spare time. Performed the opening act in “Thriller” a tribute show to Michael Jackson held by UDEM singing the lead in “They don’t really care about us”, “Don’t stop til’ you get enough” between some others. Participated in the recording of a tribute ensemble to “The Beatles” recording a “Let it be” version pulled out from the movie Across The Universe. 

     Despite her love and dedication to fashion, Andie kept writing and collected over 30 songs written in Spanish with a parallel English version. Decided to pursue a career in music leaving her Fashion Design career behind with only 2 years close to graduation. 

     In 2012, she moved to Hollywood, CA to start an Associate Degree in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Independent Artist (graduated in spring 2014) .  Andie is currently working on her solo project as an independent artist. "Gold In The Sand" is the name of her first single soon to be released on an iTunes store near you.
