23 year-old Indianapolis-based rapper Hym, is wrecking on the streets and in the cyber world. The Rapper/Producer/Songwriter/ has thousands of hits on YouTube with lyrical gems like, "Hym/Him", "Fast Girl" and "Ham." Having spent the majority of the early part of his career behind the control board and not the mic, Hym has crafted his production skills over the years. Production came natural for Hym, "I started making the beats because I had to get these sounds out my head, period. So I thought I would be more useful supplying the production." 

Hym hails from Indianapolis, IN and has been a drummer since the age of five, and has been making his own beats and rapping since the age of 14. Along with his driving passion for rhyming and beat making, in his free time Hym likes to film and edit videos, dance, and hang out with friends.

Honing his skills as a songwriter and creating hooks for his beats, Hym stepped up his lyrical repertoire with full length and completed songs in the last few years. By teaming up with Spread The Wealth, Hym became more focused on his grind and began working on the underground album, Hym|Himself. 2011 was a breakout year in the young rapper's career with YouTube plays sky rocketing and downloads jumping on Datpiff.com and Digitaltrapinc.com.

After the Him|Himself debut, national requests came in for his performance. Hym has toured the states with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Orlando. Hym has opened up for headliners such as Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, CyHi Da Prince. Twista, Big Boi, Snoop, Soulja Boy, Young Dro, Tyga, lmfao, Bun B, 8Ball & MJG, Travis Porter, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz. Solidifying himself as a real MC, Hym has garnered career-defining features from Hip-Hop artist Greg GFresh Tecoz. 

There needed to be a visual movement to showcase Hyms innovative style and unique persona. He needed help marketing the brand that is Hym, and its most certainly a unique one. Lead by Director of Spead The Wealth & Brad Knight Photography, Hym released an astounding 5 cutting-edge music videos in 2011 alone. He has now released 9 videos that have garnered a very impressive 100,000 views.

Hym continued his 2011 winning streak by releasing the #30for30 mixtape on Dec. 1 to an overwhelming response of positivity to the music from his fans. Once again outdoing the numbers of his previous project. Following the release of Hym|Himself, the arist has been on a mini HimHimself/#30for30 tour including stops in the midwest & down south to name a few, performing to packed crowds of 300-2,000.
