Bio
andrea graduated in 2007 with an Honours BA in English and French from the University of Guelph. The story she read at the 2007 Eden Mills Writer’s Festival was also a runner up for its literary contest. andrea has been a runner-up in two Bookshelf Poetry Contests. She has read at several small shows and festivals in and around Guelph and Toronto. andrea has published poetry in the Antigonish Review, righthandpointing, and Scared of My Mate. She is an active member of the Kazoo! collective of artists, musicians and writers in Guelph, Ontario; she publishes a quarterly magazine entitled the kazine. andrea is an active social and artistic member of the Guelph community; she co-directed and produced a documentary on the closure of Change Now entitled Change Now, Now What. She has also volunteered with the Human Rights and Equity Office at the University of Guelph, and was a Writing Peer Helper for 2 years at the University of Guelph.
