Andrea Pais is a songwriter, classically-trained pianist, and vocal powerhouse based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Her music is a captivating blend of soul, R&B, blues, and pop stemming from her early musical influences which include Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Etta James.
She started playing piano at the age of eight years old and wrote her first song at the age of 14.
Andrea gained popularity by posting videos on the popular social networking site YouTube and, to date, her videos have been viewed by millions of people.
Andrea can be seen performing in Washington D.C.’s most popular venues, and she is set to release her professionally-recorded, debut EP "Chasing Forever" in the fall.
Interesting facts about Andrea:
- She is originally from India.
- She has two Master’s degrees.
- She wrote all of the songs on her upcoming EP. (She worked with multi-platinum record producer Jim Ebert at Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church, VA).
