"CD Review - Inside Out"

It is very rare to find an album that is enjoyable from the first track until the last. Andrejack, a Long Island-based band signed to Internet Records, comprised of Paul Andrejack on vocals and acoustic guitar, Sammy Vazquez on bass, Carlos Tirado on guitar and Doug Grober on drums, do just that. With "Inside Out", Andrejack makes a very convincing argument that they may just be ready for that big rock and roll spotlight

This is one tight-sounding rock group. Paul Andrejack's voice swings from a gritty musical growl interspersed with ringing clean tones to soaring cries. Mixed with the harmonies of Vazquez and Tirado, they create a vocal instrument that perfecfy comptements the other well-played instruments in this four-piece band. Each well-crafted song is written and composed by the trio of Andrejack, Mangold and Marselle and creates a feeling of celebration that carries you from track to track. This is the kind of music that you find yourself singing in your car.

If you're lucky enough to be in the New York metro area, check them out. - Inside Connection - Keith Myers

"Perseverance in the Wake of a Tragedy"

Paul Andrejack had successfully fronted his own band, True, which he felt pretty much had reached a plateau in their career. At that time in his life he was also dealing with the loss of his sister to cancer, so he decided to take some time from the music scene, and when he could, directed his feelings into song in his home studio. When he felt a project developing, he enlisted former True bandmate Joe Marselle to contribute on some tracks on what would become the Andrejack first full length, Inside Out. Due to the urging of bassist Sammy Vazquez and producer/collaborator Mark Mangold, Paul was convinced to call the project by his last name. "... After I saw the logo, I was sold and we went with it," he says.

Although the band name is new, his polished, pop-oriented rock sound remains, albeit with a new maturity due to his personal and professional growth. Inside Out was originally created with many session artists that were friends of both Paul Andrejack and MarkMangold. As things progressed, a live lineup developed; Sammy Vazquez on bass (who has been with this project since the beginning), LisaTangredi on drums, and Keith Farraro on guitar. Paul noted that for him it was not only important to get pro players, but people with the same vision and passion for the music.
So how did a Long Island songwriter hook up with a GrammyAward-winning writer like Mark Mangold? Networking! Mangold was in a project with a longtime friend of Paul’s, Al Fristch, who submitted some material for Mark to review. Mangold liked the material so much that he went beyond producing the tracks to actually co-writing tracks as well, all the while maintaining the vision that Paul had and in many ways enhancing it. Both Mark and Paul have a pretty spiritual side to them, so they had a common ground to work from.
The one track on Inside Out that really hits home for Paul without question would be "Everyday," which was written for his sister who had passed on. It also features Billy and Bobby Alessi (Barnaby Bye)singing backing vocals. Paul’s sister was a huge fan of theirs, as well is he. Andrejack will be playing with them at a sold-out show at the Boulton Theater in Bayshore on March 4. (Another show may be added;check the Andrejack website.)
Inside Out is being released on Internet Records, who had approached Andrejack long before the CD was done, having heard some pre-release material through a mutual friend. "Our artists have something to say that tells a story and is positive. I got to like the music and the lyrics first before its released period." said InternetRecords founder Tyrone Williamson about his latest signing.
Paul felt that by being with an indie label such as Internet Record he would get priority treatment, and as an emerging band would gain more attention. Paul feels when the time is right he can always move up to a major. Internet Records plans on developing as much distribution as they can and will pursue a good radio campaign. The band and label want to market overseas as well, and there will be a music video in the future.
Inside Out is available through Internet outlets and at all LongIsland Best Buys. Andrejack plans to hit the college circuit in support of the release.

Bio

Today’s Rock music has often been compared by critics as trite and cliché. Many groups have done the same formula over and over, but Andrejack stands out amongst them.

Andrejack has established themselves on their debut release “Inside Out” on Internet Records with a commercial radio ready rock sound that will give John Mayer and Coldplay some serious competition.

Andrejack’s Lineup features Paul Andrejack on Vocals and Acoustic Guitar, Sammy Vazquez on Bass, Keith Ferraro on Guitar, and the powerhouse Lisa Tangredi on Drums, making the sonic masterpiece that can be heard on “Inside Out”. Andrejack has to its credit participation on this record from some star performers, namely Mark Mangold (producer/cowriter) and contribution from the Alessi Brothers on “Everyday”. They have gained endorsements, tour sponsors as well as exposure through tv, radio and press.

Doug Florio from Tantric sums up Andrejack best by saying “Platinum songs! Sure to be the next BIG thing”. They are sure to be a force to be reckoned with!!!
