Andre Lovelle

Andre Lovelle is an independent vocalist from Providence, RI. now residing in Boston, MA Andre writes and produces all of his music. His debut EP, Fire Proof, was released in the summer of 2008. Inspired by personal struggles and overcoming adversity by faith, He put his wrote our his pain and transformed it into music. With sounds of soul and hip-hop on the EP, Andre presents collaborations with Christian rap artist Bobby Bishop (Lynn, MA) on the song Come Back 2 God, and the powerful singing voice of Michael Shepard (Providence, RI) on the title song Fire Proof which he wrote after escaping his home in a devastating house fire. All of the music from Fire Proof was recorded in Alex K Studio in Providence RI with production help from Alex Krepkikh. For the last five years, Andre has been the lead vocalist for Bostons most talked about wedding band Boston Players.

A gifted singer, Andre has a soothing honest and down to earth quality that connects to his audiences. His songs are thoughtful and have a simplistic beauty that tells his story. Stories like when one week before gradutating high school Andre was in a car accident that left him with severe head injuries requiring twenty-two staples at the crown of his head. And on a Christmas night, sleeping after dinner with his family he almost didn't make it out of the third floor of his home when it caught fire. His music conveys deep inner stuggles and the pain of events in life that happen outside of human control.

Influenced by artist like Donny Hathaway, John Legend and The Roots, Andre is currently working on his next EP. The R&B album is named after a special lady "Shonda Yvonne" and is a small collection of love songs dedicated to and inspired by a beautiful woman in his life. the Shonda Yvonne EP will be released later this year.
