Andrés Rivera, a teenage singer/songwriter gifted with an outstanding voice, was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April15,1991.
===The Great Years (2006-2008)===
After collaborating on R&B; track "Ever Been", with Natasha Bedingfield in early 2006, the song rocketed as a club favorite in London, Portobello, giving Rivera his first taste of fame! Later the same year, Andres was a featured guest on "Top of the Pops", broadcast from Miami, FL, performing his new hit "Foolish", a Ska-dance sounding song he composed which brought him more and more publicity by the play!
This attention led him to a Major Record Label deal with "Island Records UK", in early 2007. He then had the opportunity to collaborate with famed singer Amy Winehouse for a Project Sound. (which means it was not a major release, due to contract)The jazz track is called "Me", and is a beautiful song which became a HIT in Portebello.

As his label continued his promotion, he constantly evolved his sound and performance, garnering enough reputation to be hailed as "The Mexican American answer to Robin Thicke", by Idol Records magazine, and BBC cited him as "one to watch!"
In early 2008, Andres� unique NU-jazz song , "I Do", began to hit the radio stations. Andres says, "�I Do� was the track made for my people in Texas". As his great talent kept evolving higher by the record, he produced yet another called "Procrastination", which brought him a number one hit single! It made number one everywhere he looked. Even though the song is covered by an Amy Winehouse original, Andres took that song to a whole other level!
His album ''Rainy Days'' was released as a digital download in August 2008.
== Awards ==
In 2006 Rivera was awarded the New Artist award in THE BBC AWARDS for his Hit song ''I DO''.
In 2007 he won the Best Latin Song for his Hit Single ''Tu Eres'' (Which can be found on his album ''The Good Life'').
He also received recognition as the best singer in the UK in 2007 by the Major Record Label of �Universal Island UK''.
Currently, Andres has been dropped from Island Records due to creative differences. He resides in Fort Worth, Texas
