Bio
The founding member of Ragged Glory, Ken Crawford, has a long standing history of performing Neil Young songs. He has been playing around Ontario for over twenty years in a variety of venues and genres. He started playing with a R&B /Southern Rock band called Electroglide, then went on to form (the original) -Harvest-Neil Young Tribute. After moving to Hamilton in 1998, and playing in a local country band, Ragged Glory was formed.
Ragged Glory has gone on to play various clubs and venues including a performance at the Dunnville Music Festival with such acts as David Wilcox and Blue Rodeo and was featured on CITY-TV’s Breakfast Television.
Ragged Glory’s lineup consists of seasoned, professional musicians all with extensive musical history including work in show bands and tribute acts. The performance by the band can be tailored to suit a variety of venues. Whether it be an acoustic/country/folk show based on Neil’s acoustic work or a hard rocking “Live Rust” performance featuring his distorted, “fuzzy”, feedback mixed, crowd favorites such as “Cinnamon Girl” and “Powderfinger”. . .
Ragged Glory captures the FULL Neil Young experience, including his distinctive guitar sound , note for note lead work, onstage appearance and his unique tenor voice.
