Cold Hard Rain

Written By: Andrew Cooper

When the cold wind blows and brings a hard rain
Look inside and find the most important thing
And set out to do your work and make one small change
When the cold wind blows and brings a hard rain

Sometimes it something old that you feel again
that takes you back to a where and when
you knew it so well
but only time will tell
if there is water in this well

Then the cold winds blow and bring a hard rain (x3)
Well I hope you found the most important thing

Oh I love the way you bring me home
back on top where i belong
You make me so very clear
but only when i’m not with you here

The days roll by so quickly
when i burn so many idle hours
I can stain the grain on any wood ive gained
but I cant own all the trees and the flowers

I hope a warm breeze glides and leaves you satisfied (x3)
Satisfied, satisfied, satisfied

I got love

Written By: Andrew Cooper

I got love, I can feel it in my chest
I've got most everything I need and I’m doin’ my best
I'll take your hand to help me see it through
And I know I got love, because I know I got you

I let you know that I was sticking around
and you showed me just how you felt
so happy to be stayin together
with all these high cards we were delt

A lot a hope, a lot a laughs, a lot a you with just a little bit a me
When people talk about love
I think that now maybe I see
you know you make me believe

I got love, I can feel it in my chest
I've got most everything I need and I’m doin’ my best
I'll take your hand to help me see it through
And I know I got love, because I know I got you

Too many times when we’re so far apart
But I still think about all that you do
You lift me up, and you can heal my heart
Whenever I’m down and blue

When I see ya smiling as you’re runnin up the steps open arms to me
And ya jump and hug wrap your around me and you start to squeeze
You knock me off a my feet

I got love, I can feel it in my chest
I've got most everything I need and I’m doin’ my best
I'll take your hand to help me see it through
And I know I got love, because I know I got you

Torn & Grayed

Written By: Andrew Cooper

Oh the days leave me sad and blue
And the nights bring me home to you
but its the mornin, im supposed to leave I dont know what to do
Its a struggle everyday that comes right on cue
How do I leave so worried thinkin you might not be true

You’re gonna go out and find another man
Somebody that you think can treat you better than I can
But there’s no one in the world thats been made that way
thats when the sun come up i leave so torn and frayed

Oh the days leave me sad and blue
And the nights bring me home to you
but its the mornin, im supposed to leave I dont know what to do
Its a struggle everyday that comes right on cue

Oh the days leave me sad and blue
And the nights bring me home to you
but its the mornin, im supposed to leave I dont know what to do
How do I leave so worried thinkin you might not be true

You’re gonna go out and find another man
Somebody that you think can treat you better than I can
But there’s no one in the world thats been made that way
thats when the sun come up i leave so torn and frayed
Oh how I wish girl, I wish I could stay
When those soft blues eyes peer up in an early mornin daze
Covered in warmth through a sunsoaked window pane
thats when the sun come up i leave so

Down in the bottom

Written By: Andrew Cooper

Down in the bottom’s where I’m gonna be
If you feel like ramblin you can come and see me
Make sure to holla so i hear you come
so I can tie up the dog and safety the gun

First fifth left is that ol pine stand
right across the road a grove of pecans
where the horses and the cows and the goats all graze
I gotta stop them coyotes of their dirty ol ways

the garden’s growing green, aint a damn thing dead
the barn’s built stout and I painted it red
there’s a monster in the pond about 35 lbs
if you see them turtles poppin up go to poppin off rounds

No bankers, no lawyers, no broadway cops
They blow so much smoke it fills up the tree tops
When you’re hear ill make it clear its time to break your back
we got to much to do, no time to slack

but when the sun hits the trees and the lights gone away
we’ll go get some food and wash off the day
cause when youre hear ill make it clear its time to relax
we’ll go and watch the stars layin on our backs

Oh I like goin out and findin a little trouble
Oh I like goin to the mountaintop and playin in snow and ice
Oh I like spending all day out on the water
Oh I love being hear this time a year, it sure is nice
