Bio
Do not fear death. Respect life.
Andrew started his musical career at the ripe old age of 10, playing various shows in and around Norfolk, and continuing to build experience before moving off to university in the vain hope of learning something useful. Failing to be impressed with anything other than a life of music, he graduated in Applied Psychology from Durham and immediately moved to London to pursue his love of music once more, playing with various rock bands as a lead guitarist. Contacts were built, bands came and went, but with a solid core of talented musicians around him, he went on to form his first creative venture in songwriting: MotherBlackCap. The band went on to gain an impressive following supporting acts such as Jeremy Enigk, Rick Witter and The Dukes, Nigel Clark and Kid Gallahad (The Furze) among many others. However, life events within the band conspired against them and things went awry. Andrew underwent serious surgery which forced the band to melt away, but once recovered he got back into the fold, and rather than let it get the better of him, began work on his debut solo album - again utilising musicians he had worked with previously in MotherBlackCap. So the road leads us to the present, and as we all know, that is all that counts!
Andrew is focused entirely into his material and puts his life and soul into songs that run far deeper than mere melody and rhythm.
