Bio

Andrew Dugan began playing guitar when he was 8 years old and started singing at the age of 12. After fronting multiple oddjob bands, he found himself at peace being the lead singer of the Sykesville, MD Alternative/Metal band Foretold. Foretold released a four song EP in 2006 and followed up with their debut album “Just the Tip” in March 2009.

As the time passed, they gigged in Baltimore regularly and opened for national acts such as Static X, Airbourne, Operator, Jimmies Chicken Shack and Black Market Radio (featuring Peter Cornell, brother of Chris Cornell). Foretold was put into rotation for 9 weeks straight on 98 Rock Baltimore’s Noise in the Basement show, and was featured on several front page articles in multiple newspapers in the MD area.

Dugan’s upcoming release, “MMXII” is a concept CD about 2012 that will feature six songs, each describing one hour of the last six hours on earth. While writing the CD Dugan had some weird things happen. Many of these occurrences happened after meeting and collaborating with Art Director of “MMXII” Katherine Stankewicz. Back and forth they had coincidences they could not explain relating to the number 6 and prophecies of a lightening storm. One of these strange premonitions was the US Airways plane crash into the Hudson River. More of these can be better understood by reading the Strange things blog on Dugan’s myspace page. I have included a brief summary of each song on the album on the next page.

The end is near…
