Bio
Andrew Healey is an Auckland Singer/Songwriter.
Andrew has performed regularly in local venues for the past 10 years either solo armed with just an acoustic guitar or with his band.
To date Andrew has released or appeared on several recordings:
In 2006 Andrew contributed to On the Horison; a compellation album showcasing local Singer/Songwriters. His song ‘Little King’ was singled out by NZ Musician Magazine and described as ‘moving.’ ‘Little King’ was also a semi-finalist in the 2008 UK Songwriting Competition.
2007 saw the release of his debut EP Urban Songs. This 6-track EP was self-produced and showcased the diversity of Andrew’s music, ranging from ballads to rock.
In 2008 Andrew contributed to Summer Fusion, a compellation album to support The Auckland Kidney Society. This album included P-Money, Nathan Haines, Salmonella Dub and Ted Brown.
Listen to This is Andrew’s latest release. It was recorded and produced by Auckland Production Company The Sound Room, and is his best work yet.
