Singer-songwriter continuously striving to write his best material. I believe in writing "good music".

Biography

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Andrew Richardson has eaten, slept and breathed music his whole life. Being surrounded by a brother taking violin lessons; two parents who had occasional hobbies in music (mom played piano and dad played guitar); daily doses of 80's Pop, Rock and Metal from the radio dial and the record player, and choirs in school have been as much a part of his life as breathing air.

Writing songs always came naturally as well - songs dating back to the third grade. Rudimentary piano lessons followed and shortly afterward he taught himself how to play and write popular music on the piano and guitar. While in high school he was the keyboard player for a blues band called "The Poor Boys" that headlined venues such as Fitzgerald's and The Abyss and opened for such notables as "Blue October".

A year after high school graduation attended the legendary Belmont University in Nashville on Music Row to study Music Business and Video Production. While honing his music business skills he met Jim Bennett, Nate Watkins & Denver
Hamilton and formed "Crooked Creek" - a Southern Rock band that headlined and toured throughout Tennessee, Oklahoma and South Carolina and having one stint organizing
a concert and opening for country hit artist "Chad Brock".

Next for Richardson was a series of moving adventures living in Los Angeles, Austin and finally touching his wings back down at HOME in Houston. He is currently producing and writing material for himself and for others.

Lyrics

Mary September

Written By: Andrew Richardson

I feel the pain

Every September

'Cos that's the month

I always remember

That she's not there

To catch me when I fall

It's not the same

Being without her

'Cos it's no fun

To be thinking about her

When all my dreams

Are just something in vain

Where's my

Mary September

I've tried

So hard to forget her

Where's my

Mary September

It’s all the same

Every September

‘Cos that’s the month

That feels like December

And every thought

Chills me to the bone

I call her name

But nobody answers

‘Cos she’s not there

I don’t really have her

In my arms

I’m standing all alone

Where's my

Mary September

I've tried

I cannot forget her

Where's my

Mary September

She’s gone away

I never knew I’d feel this way

Now I see

What Mary took away from me

Let's Have Some Fun

Written By: Andrew Richardson

Throw out the homework

Put on your makeup

It is time

For a change

Turn off the tv

Roll on your lipstick

It is time

To rearrange

Let's have some fun

Come on everyone

Let's take a chance

Come on everyone

Let's make some noise

Come on everyone

Let's have some fun

Turn off the lights

Open all the windows

It is time

For a change

Throw on some music

Turn it very loud

It is time

To rearrange

Let's have some fun

Come on everyone

Let's take a chance

Come on everyone

Let's make some noise

Come on everyone

Let's have some fun

Open all the doors

Let the people in

It is time

For a change

Break out the champagne

Pour up all the glasses

It is time

To rearrange

(Repeat Chorus)

Before You Notice Me

Written By: Andrew Richardson

copyright 2005 Andrew Richardson

How many times

Must I try?

How many times

Must I die?

Before you notice me

Before you notice me

Before you notice me

How many times

Must I dream?

How many times

Must I scream?

Before you notice me

Before you notice me

Before you notice me

And this picture's all I got

And I know it's not a lot

But it keeps you close to me

How many times

Must I shake?

How many times

Must I ache?

Before you notice me

Before you notice me

Before you notice me
