Bio
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Andrew Richardson has eaten, slept and breathed music his whole life. Being surrounded by a brother taking violin lessons; two parents who had occasional hobbies in music (mom played piano and dad played guitar); daily doses of 80's Pop, Rock and Metal from the radio dial and the record player, and choirs in school have been as much a part of his life as breathing air.
Writing songs always came naturally as well - songs dating back to the third grade. Rudimentary piano lessons followed and shortly afterward he taught himself how to play and write popular music on the piano and guitar. While in high school he was the keyboard player for a blues band called "The Poor Boys" that headlined venues such as Fitzgerald's and The Abyss and opened for such notables as "Blue October".
A year after high school graduation attended the legendary Belmont University in Nashville on Music Row to study Music Business and Video Production. While honing his music business skills he met Jim Bennett, Nate Watkins & Denver
Hamilton and formed "Crooked Creek" - a Southern Rock band that headlined and toured throughout Tennessee, Oklahoma and South Carolina and having one stint organizing
a concert and opening for country hit artist "Chad Brock".
Next for Richardson was a series of moving adventures living in Los Angeles, Austin and finally touching his wings back down at HOME in Houston. He is currently producing and writing material for himself and for others.
