Andreyka

Andreyka formed in the Fall of 2005 after Inner Vision parted ways with their singer. The three remaining members decided to use it as an opportunity to move in a new musical direction with a whole new level of ambition. With Ben Collins taking over on lead vocals, they picked up guitarist, Mark Fain, and set off to create something truly special. Practicing around work schedules and college classes, the band got shows with Jupiter Sunrise, Spitalfield, Down To Earth Approach, Rescue, La Dispute, The Skyline Obscura, and many more. Mark Houlihan of the nationally touring band Jupiter Sunrise called Andreyka "inspirational." In March 2006, the band decided to record an EP with former Electric 6 and Fergie producer, Ben Began. It was a slow process since Andreyka had to schedule sessions around exams and term papers AND try to scrounge up enough cash to pay for studio time. However, the struggle paid off, and their first EP, Silence is So Accurate, is on sale now! While they play shows to promote and sell the EP, Andreyka is already writing new material with a more unified mindset. Great things are surely going to come from their relentless hard-work.

Andreyka is influenced by Underoath, Thursday, Radiohead, Incubus, Taking Back Sunday, Coldplay, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Elliott Smith, Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World, Death Cab For Cutie, Killswitch Engage, Jupiter Sunrise, The Fall Of Troy, Idiot Pilot and everything that makes humans feel something.
