Andrue Sullivan began creating a bit of an international buzz with his debut EP, "Love Prophecies." Through that collection of stripped-down solo performances, he gained a prestigious Featured Artist spot at JeffBuckley.com's Peyote Radio Theater and showed us the truly moving starting point for his unique sound - a sound that has been much expanded upon in his first full-length release, "A Breath In Two."
His artistic influences are wide reaching, spanning the gamut of genres from rock to folk to classical. The result is a darkly tinged alternative/pop/rock blend, leaning towards introspective and emotional themes. His songcraft stems from a desire to create original music that is refreshing, engaging, stirring, and which is wholly directed toward that special audience/performer connection so important to the art of music. This becomes clear to anyone in attendance at his performances. Andrue's songs are full of wandering, somewhat mournful melodies, and are delivered with both power and restraint by a voice that ranges from the smoothest touch to stratospheric roars. His talents have often been compared to such artists as David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Freddie Mercury and others.
Andrue's performance experience is extensive, both with bands and as a solo artist. His fan base is widely spread, consisting of listeners throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, Scandinavia, and Mexico.
