Bio

ASIWYFA live performances have been described by the press as stunning and unmissable, a tear jerking experience, Instrumental punk rock with the heart and spirit of Fugazi and The Clash brought crashing into the 21st century headfirst through a double glazed window. Their delicate minutiae of fidgeting rhythms and optimistic dream state melodies get steamrollered by a colossal sonic barrage of apocalyptic proportions. Having been only together since 2006, this ambitious foursome have the drive of some kind of bastard big tank and have managed to build not just their own reputation to towering heights but also that of a whole city. This is their machine and it certainly doesn’t look like anything can stop it. Since releasing their debut Album in March through the Smalltown America Label, touring relentlessly, playing Oxegen and Pukklepop Festival, headlining NI’s very own Glasgowbury and set to end 2009 on a high by headlining The Ulster Hall in December, this has been an incredible year for the four piece, which just seems to get better and better.
