Formed in 2012 in Washington, DC, front man, Jay Burden
brought his talent for writing hook driven pop songs to veteran
funk bassist, Jimmy Carter, and began branding their shows as
intense and intoxicating live experiences. The beats, delivered are hard, heavy and precise, underneath infectious lyrics and melodies. The first tracks were recorded in the former living room of a vacant family estate. Jay enlisted the skills of friend Pete Lyman from LA’s Infrasonic Mastering (Mars Volta, Beck, Gogol Bordello) to put a fine polish on the gronk tracks.
