Andy Allan

Andy is 17 years old he plays the Guitar, Trumpet, Keyboard and a bit of percussion. Andy has only being singing properly for around a year, as he first discovered his love for music at 11 years of age. He is currently finishing high school in Australia and is planning on going to University.

Through creating his first EP (Holding On) he says that he has learnt a lot musically and a lot about life also. He has met a few people throughout the process whom have changed his life and music career. Andy says that Jeremy Williams (producer) has changed the way he looks at music and how he writes a song, it's all about feeling and emotion not the a catchy hook-line.

Andy tells us that he fell in love with music at his first experiences with it. As he started playing guitar at the age of 11 not long after he moved to America he found that music really helped him get through the tough stages of life. Andy says that throughout the journey of moving countries you lose a lot of friends and often feel lonely, and this is when he turned to music to play away his emotions and let go.

"Moving to a whole new world throws you in many different directions, it feels like starting your life over again. Through all the obstacles life gives you and all the troubles you have through life, I always seemed to go back to playing guitar, it was way for me to let lose, i now know that music will always be there for me." Says Andy.

Andy looks at life in a very positive outlook as he says "You have too look at every experience in a positive way, you can never dwell on the past and keep wishing things happened. You have to live for today and make life what you want it to be like".
