"Memories of Connecticut is the new album from the New
York City singer-songwriter with the unique name Andy If. Five years after the release of his debut album "Road Trip," word has spread of his clever and humorous lyrics, and the energy of his live performances. This release is much more than that!

"Memories of Connecticut" is especially admirable
for the quality of the song writing.  It was produced by If’s Wallflowers acquaintance, Rami Jaffee, and features other talented folk such as David Baerwald, Phil Cody,
Michael Duff, Ben Peeler, Joey Peters (Grant Lee Buffalo) and Greg Richling (Wallflowers).  The witty songs give this album a rootsy pop feeling.  The opening three songs are a straight hat trick. "Details", followed by the title number  "Memories of Connecticut" and then, together with Phil Cody, the ingenious  "How Lucky." All have an agreeable sound that leaves the door wide open for more. This sets the stage for the twangy sound of the banjo and mandolin on "Wayward Heart", and the modest, poignant soulful song "Thinking About You", featuring the beautiful Hammond organ stylings of Jaffee.

This is a disc that you should have in your collection!
