A trawl through the musical history of Wales will throw up a list of bands who’ve made the big move to London only to wind up bloodied, bruised and battered by the experience. It was inevitable after The Manics and The Alarm made it the others would try to follow .
One band who arguably came closest to the holy grail of a major deal was The Andy Stine band, they were a band and a half indeed, as anyone who saw their scorching live shows will tell you.
Brilliant musicians all of them and in Andy Stine they had the complete package, a distinctive vocalist and an audience grabbing

Andy has now moved back from London , and is now performing his one man Neil Diamond Tribute, a songwriter and performer Andy has always admired.
His show at the Theatre Colwyn reminded us of why Andy made his name to the assembled sell out crowd his vocals are even stronger than before and the resemblance to Neil Diamond is staggering.
Coast FM DJ Mike Sweeney commented that “Andy Stine sounds more like Neil Diamond than Neil Diamond himself”.
