This eclectic performer is a visual artist/ storyteller who lyrically conjures images of contemporary Caribbean life on all levels. He touches on most topics, love, clubbing, money, crime, and society in general, pasted on a collage of urban island hip hop, dancehall, calypso, soca and electronic music. Inspired by the increasing emergence of talented Trinidad artists but disillusioned by the dwindling presence of Trinidad and Tobago's rich vernacular in modern music, 'Venture experimented with the indigenous genre known as 'rapso' in the 1990's, considered loosely by many to be the "rap of calypso". His first foray was a socially conscious track entitled "I Don't Feel To Cry" , which won the favour of the more popular rapso exponents, such as Brother Resistance. While studying Visual Art and Design at the University of the West Indies, he enjoyed spirited public response and media attention when he initiated "The Honey and Lime Tour". This joint art and music project, served as a launch pad for emerging, cutting-edge artists such as himself, setting ablaze social hotspots across the island nation. This also propelled 'Venture's popularity throughout the local underground. It was AndyVenture's first effort with a live band, which facilitated the versatility and flamboyant presentation of this artist. From this experience, Venture was moved to dig deep and churn out underground hits such as the somewhat embittered yet pertinent crime drama "Teef (In D Nite)", the mellowed-out "Tropical Relaxation", "Moneymaker", and the soca-influenced "Let U Know".

With the emphasis on the word 'venture' in his name which basically means to dare to go forward, this artist conjures smooth poetic flows as well as a powerful militant styling to invade your 'earspace'. Inserting the Trinidad vernacular as the exclamation point in the mix, linking oral traditions such as rap, dancehall, reggae, calypso and soca, AndyVenture is determined to show and prove, and so appeal to many, once there's is a killer rhythm to ride.

At present, AndyVenture belongs to a vanguard group of artists that look toward a global future that includes the evolving and distinct Trinidad & Tobago sound and aesthetic. A leader in the so-called “FullRange Movement”, 'Venture argues that while most artists ultimately seek approval from a mass global audience as a measure of success, his focus is on “bringing the world to his house” and creating demand for what he views as the next generation of modern music, by presenting the Trini contemporary to hip hop, reggae, and other lyrical, musical genres; the new genre known as FullRange.
