Bio
Angel is a classically trained violinist and self taught guitar and keyboard player. She has opened for B5, Trey Songz and G-Unit.
Angel was the winner in the 2005 Atlantic Records Showcase “The Series” hosted by Sha Hayes of Streetz Magazine. She also performed at the 2005 Virginia Music Conference sponsored by Source Magazine and Quick Flip Entertainment on March 25 and 26, 2005. Angel performed at the 2004 Urban Independent Music Awards where she was nominated for the Best Female R&B Song of the Year. She won an opportunity to perform at the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards show held at the World Famous Apollo Theater in New York City! In 2003 Angel won Talent America's Best Hip Hop/R&B Teen Female Vocalist. She has competed in many high profiled talent showcases. Such as ICON 03, DC Idol, Mathew Knowles Uplifting Minds 2 and Teens Count Talent Showcase and she made the final cut for CBS's Star Search.
Angel started out by writing poems at the age of 10. By the time she was 12 she was writing and arranging her own songs and has been co-producing since the age of 13. Angel started out singing in church and is a naturally gifted harmony singer. Angel's versatile style along with her strong and expressive voice and dance ability makes her a consummate entertainer.
Angel is serious and dedicated when it comes to her music and has developed her own stage performances, which include singing, dancing, and background dancers. In all, her ability to blend R&B and Hip Hop, musical ability, mature sound, and stage presence makes Angel an artist to watch!
