Angela Everwood

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Angela Everwood
is a rising star in the country music scene. Her
debut album “I’ll Be Thinking Of You,” was
recorded with some of the best talent in Nashville,
TN, including chart topping pro-ducer Tom Paden
(George Strait, Faith Hill) and Academy of Country
Music Award winner Judy Rodman. Angela
Everwood earned the opportunity to play her music
at the 2012 92.5 XTU Anniversary Show, one of the
largest country music festivals in the nation, by
winning Philadelphia’s local Singer/Songwriter
Texaco Country Showdown.
Finding herself on the fast track from ‘girl next
door’ to country/pop-rock starlet did not happen
overnight. At the age of 20, her passion for writing
and performing had taken off. Exploring several
genres Angela felt a deep con-nection with
country music, and has always drawn inspira-tion
from classic stars like Johnny Cash to modern
stars like Taylor Swift. She would venture out to
the most popular local music venues, in
neighboring Philadelphia, showcas-ing her sweet
vocals and self-written ballads, often filling
rooms with eager audiences along the way. A few
short years later she went from the confines of
local stages in her native Pennsylvania to the
heart of Music Row in Nashville. With a sound as
playful as it is bold, and distinct lyrics as
nostalgic as they are inspiring, Angela Everwood’s
original music and style attracts listeners of all
ages. She bridges Traditional Country with Pop-
Rock and reaches fans of all genres.
Hailing from Huntingdon Valley, PA, a young Angela
made a name for herself in the Philadelphia area by
being an active performer. Beginning as a solo artist,
then becoming an acoustic duo, she wowed audiences
of smaller venues and eventually incorporated The
Big Leap as her pernament backing band. As she
developed her songwriting, she discovered her own
unique voice and style, eventually gravitating to her
trademark subtle, sleek and sassy country sound.
As her list of gigs expanded, Angela Everwood
collaborated with a label, however after a brief time
decided to separate. As noted by the tattoo on her
forearm “Ambitious,” Angela is not one to be stifled
by conformity. She forges ahead paving her own way
while alluring new listeners at every turn. Among her
accomplishments, Angela Everwood has performed at
notable venues like Liacouras Center, World Café
Live, Susquehanna Bank Center, PNC Field, The
Kimmel Center, Tin Angel, The Blockley, The
Legendary Dobbs, The Rusty Nail, Philadelphia’s
Famous TLA, The North Star Bar, The Trocadero,
numerous charity events, and countless gigs from as
far north as Portland, Maine all the way down to
Nashville, TN.
