Angela Gilltrap

Angela Gilltrap is an award winning performer, singer and songwriter. She is a regular on Triple J and ABC Radio nationally; co-host of ABC TV's highly succesful show, Strictly Dancing; regular guest on the comedy panel show 'The Glasshouse' and her latest offering, Celebrity Crash Pad (a travel show with a twist) is currently airing throughout Asia.

In early 2006 Angela moved to New York to begin work on her upcoming album, recorded in Harlem. She continues to split her time between New York and Sydney with her music column (in Drum Media), "A Bite from the Big Apple" connecting her with the international music scene.

A multi-instrumentalist, Angela has appeared on recordings for Black Cab Recordings as well as promotional recordings with Tina Arena and other artists. She has worked alongside KD Lang, Rue Paul, Craig McLachlan, Elliot Weston, Welter, Margaret Ulrich, Nessa Morgan, Amanda Easton and Kate Cebrano.

She is a Green Room Award recipient and continues to be in constant demand as a songwriter, performer, session singer and original artist.

Whether she is playing solo or backed by her some of New York's hottest musicians, Angela sings with a passion and conviction that has seen her develop a loyal fan base worldwide.
